SummYT provides a service for summarizing YouTube videos. The Service includes a website and a browser extension that allow users to summarize YouTube videos. The Service offers various paid tiers, each with different quotas for the number of videos a user can summarize.

2. User Eligibility

The Service is intended for use by individuals who are at least 13 years of age. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years of age and have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Collection and Use of Personal Information

When you sign up for the Service, you will be prompted to provide your full name and email address through an OAuth process. SummYT will collect and store this information in an account for you to use when you log in to the Service. By using the Service, you agree to SummYT collection and use of your personal information as described in these Terms and in our Privacy Policy.

4. Restrictions on Use

You may only use the Service for lawful purposes. You may not use the Service to scrape summaries. You may not use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service or interfere with any other party use and enjoyment of the Service.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SUMMYT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

You acknowledge that the summaries generated by the Service may not be fully accurate.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AGREE THAT YOU WILL NOT HOLD SUMMYT OR ITS AFFILIATES LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

7. Termination

SummYT reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate or restrict your use of the Service, without notice, for any reason, and without liability to you.

8. General Terms

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and SummYT and govern your use of the Service. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which SummYT is headquartered, without reference to conflict of laws principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in that state.
